Wednesday, January 6, 2010, Andre Dawson was inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame.

Andre Dawson 55 is a native Miamian.
He attended Southwest High School.
After graduating from Southwest High School he attended Florida A&M University.
He will be inducted into the shrine located in Cooperstown, N.Y.
Dawson's final professional season was with the Florida Marlins (1995-96), after which, with whom he accepted a front-office position.

Dawson is an eight time all star.
Dawson is an eight time gold glove winner.
He is the only man other than Willie Mays and Barry Bonds with more than 400 home runs and 300 stolen bases.

Dawson is the only player to win league MVP for a last-place team, the '87 Cubs.
