Rick Scott has said the stimulus " has not created one private sector job".
Even though Scott made that statement, his telecommunications company, XFONE received $63 million in federal stimulus money. On September 13, 2010, a subsiduary, Pride Networ Inc., got approval for $36 million in additional stimulus funding. It is estimated that it will create about 1,300 jobs.
Scott is actually benefitting from the stimulus, and using the money for campaigning. If he was really sincere, he would return the stimulus money, and replace it with his own money.
